I’m Nicola Dewdney. I feel passionately that confidence and self esteem is pivotal to how we lead our lives. So most of my work center’s around this. How we can tap into this varies for us all, whether it be through acting and performance, workshops or one to one coaching.
I want all my clients to come on a journey, to discover their inner strength and push past their fears. Wherever you are in life – starting university, changing jobs, going back to work after having children – I’ll help you build confidence and improve self belief. To have the confidence to be simply who you are.
I’m a mother, actor, ex-dancer, teacher of L.A.M.D.A. NLP Master Practitioner, Life Coach and Presenter. I started my life as a performer in London’s West End in musicals. I studied at a performing arts college and then Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in voice and drama later. After this I worked in TV. Working in various T.V. shows and theatrical companies over the years I came into contact with many different people and characters. We would sometimes work together for over a year in close dressing room I started to become interested in how people think, and how their thinking affects their behaviours. My life partner at the time ran his own Training Company and I would present with him on Presentation Skills and Voice Work and Body Language
As a young woman, I studied at the Doreen Birds College of Performing Arts which gave me all that I needed for 8 years working in London’s West End and travelling around the world as a show singer on cruise ships. I gained tremendous experience in building rapport quickly with a group of people I had to work and create a show with.
After 2 years of further training at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, I returned to London to the theatre and T.V. working in BBC dramas and soaps. Most recently I’ve been in Alan Ayckbourn’s “Bedroom Farce” for the Steyning Festival and working with Derren Brown in “Pushed To The Edge” for Channel 4.
Whilst bringing up my three children, I trained as a Master NLP practitioner and have been working in corporate environments teaching presentation skills and supporting workshops with role-play.
I realised that my passion was empowering people and so I fell into working with people on a one to one basis reframing their bad life experiences fears and traumas into a balanced rounded life. This is what I love.
